About Elaniti:
At Elaniti, we're unlocking the hidden potential of soil biology to power the future of sustainable agriculture. Using DNA sequencing and Machine Learning, we decode the soil microbiome to help farmers and agri-businesses grow healthier crops, reduce inputs and restore soil resilience. We're backed by top investors, partnered with major agricultural players and supported by R&D consortia across the UK and Europe.
We’re now looking for an ambitious, adaptable and impact-led Founders Associate to join our growing team. You’ll work directly with our CEO and senior leadership team on the most important strategic, commercial and operational initiatives - everything from financial management and investor relations to customer engagement, marketing and internal operations.
This is a unique opportunity to help build a mission-driven deep tech company from the ground up, with significant exposure to startup leadership, applied machine learning, sustainability and venture growth.
What you’ll do:
You’ll help shape and scale Elaniti by working across all functions. Example responsibilities include:
🧭 Strategic Initiatives: Lead and support cross-functional projects (e.g. partnership development, international expansion, product strategy).
📈 Finance: Prepare investor updates, financial reporting and expense reconciliations, and support capital raise efforts alongside the CEO.
💼 Business Development: Research and engage with agri-tech partners, academic partners and customer prospects to open new opportunities for Elaniti.
🛠️ Operations & Delivery: Build on our processes to ensure we stay lean, compliant and efficient across hiring/onboarding, reporting and comms.
📣 Marketing & Events: Coordinate our presence at key agri-tech and climate events, leading brand storytelling and marketing initiatives.
🧪 Customer Success & Product Feedback: Help onboard pilot customers and ensure insights flow between field, lab, and platform.
What we’re looking for:
You are a proactive problem solver and enjoy getting stuck in!
You are happy to regularly ‘context switch’, bringing analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
You are a strong communicator and have a track record of working independently and delivering at pace.
You care about catalysing climate-positive change and want to improve the future of food & agriculture.
You will most likely have a Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant discipline.
Bonus if you also have:
Experience in agri-tech, biotech, professional services or early-stage startups.
Comfort working with data-intensive projects.
Why join Elaniti?
🌱 Mission-Driven: Work on a problem that really matters by contributing to a healthier agricultural future through the power of bioinformatics and data science.
🧠 Unparalleled Exposure: Get hands-on experience across product, finance, ops, science and strategy, working hand in hand with the founding team.
💥 Career Acceleration: Early-stage role with significant growth potential. You’ll be involved in key decisions and future team-building.
💻 Flexible Setup: Hybrid working - typically 2 days per week in our London office / 3 days per week remote, but we can be flexible with this.
📈 Equity Upside: Share in the company’s success through meaningful stock options.
📚 Personal Growth: Annual development budget to support learning, coaching and other personal development initiatives.
